That is why the YMCA supports families in their efforts to maintain the health and well-being of their children through increasing their access to health care.

Who else qualifies for the CHP+ coverage besides children 18 yrs and below?
Pregnant women are also eligible for this program.
We have recently lost our coverage, can we immediately apply for CHP+ coverage for our children?
If insurance coverage has been lost or will be lost in the near future due to loss of employment or termination of coverage by employer you can apply to receive coverage for your child now.
I presently pay more than 50% of the insurance premium for my family’s health insurance through my employer. Would my children be eligible to be covered under CHP+ instead?
Depending upon income level, families that are presently contributing the majority cost of insurance coverage for their children can be eligible for CHP+. For information on income guidelines visit: http://www.cchp.org/index.cfm?action=eligibility&language=eng
